     Helen Sophia Dodge was born in August 1858 in Massachusetts. She was born on 2 August 1858 in Leverett, Franklin County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of David Newel Dodge and Sophia Pratt. Her married name was Howard.

     William Henry Howard was born on 27 July 1814. He was the son of John Howard and Elizabeth Doty.

William Henry Howard and Lucinda Bent appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Leverett, Franklin County, Massachusetts, enumerated 14 July 1870. Amos Bent Howard Howard also was listed as living in the household. William Henry Howard died on 22 February 1874 at age 59.

     Lucinda Bent was born on 2 April 1809. She was the daughter of Lemuel Bent and Ester French. As of circa 1829,her married name was Howard.
